PLAIN-LANGUAGE BUSINESS TERMS

CLEAR
DEAL.

These terms are designed to keep digital projects simple: scope first, payment second, delivery after the agreed work is complete.

Project confirmation

For services that require source files, interviews, artwork, links, or other client materials, HLR may confirm the project scope and expected delivery date before accepting payment.

Mixing & mastering

The standard package covers one song up to five minutes, one stereo instrumental, up to 10 vocal tracks, two revision rounds, and final WAV/MP3 delivery. Total price is $200: $100 deposit to book and $100 due before final masters are delivered.

Revisions

Included revisions are for reasonable changes within the original project scope. New recordings, major arrangement changes, replacement instrumentals, or expanded track counts may require a new quote.

Sponsored features

Paid artist spotlights and interview features are clearly disclosed as sponsored or paid placement. Payment buys production and placement of the agreed feature, not a guaranteed positive opinion or independent editorial endorsement.

No fake-performance promises

HLR does not sell or guarantee streams, followers, playlist placement, press pickup, search ranking, virality, or a specific audience size. Third-party platforms control their own distribution and algorithms.

Client rights & materials

Clients must have the right to provide the audio, images, logos, lyrics, video, names, and other materials they submit. HLR may pause or decline work when rights, impersonation, authenticity, or legal concerns are unclear.

Payment & delivery

Payment links are for the named service or project. Final deliverables are released after the amount due for that stage has been received. Clients should keep their PayPal receipt or other payment confirmation.

Refunds

If HLR has not started substantive work, refund requests can be reviewed case by case. Once substantive work has begun or a sponsored feature has been produced or published, payment generally compensates time and production already performed.

Direct digital music

Any direct HLR digital album files are licensed for the buyer's personal use. Purchase does not transfer copyright, master ownership, publishing rights, or permission to redistribute, resell, upload, or commercially exploit the files.

Digital album fulfillment

Direct album orders are fulfilled after payment is confirmed. HLR uses the buyer's PayPal email for delivery unless the buyer supplies a different delivery email at checkout. If delivery fails, the buyer can contact mark.allen@hustlelegendrecords.com with the purchaser name shown on the PayPal receipt.

Ownership of client materials

Clients keep ownership of the music, artwork, logos, names and other original materials they provide. Paying HLR for a service does not give HLR ownership of those client materials unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Service deliverables

Rights in HLR-created deliverables depend on the service and any project-specific agreement. HLR will not claim ownership of a client's underlying music merely because HLR mixed, mastered, reviewed, wrote copy for, or promoted the project.

Third-party platforms

Spotify, YouTube, PayPal, social networks, distributors, search engines and other outside platforms control their own systems. HLR is not able to guarantee continued availability, ranking, reach, account status or platform behavior outside HLR's control.

Project communication

If required files, approvals or answers are missing, HLR may pause the project until the client responds. Delivery timing may need to be reconfirmed when a paused project resumes.

These are practical business terms, not legal advice. HLR can revise them as services change. Project-specific written terms or invoices control if they conflict with this general page.
